Introduction
Michael is a Vice President at RWJBarnabas Health and a graduate of the Rutgers’ Executive Masters in Public Administration program. For the past 23 years, he has leveraged his public health expertise to revolutionize and transform care delivery systems using an empathetic, whole-person, upstream, and comprehensive patient-centered approach to prevent and address complex social care issues.
As a champion of health justice, with a particular focus on substance use disorder, Michael uses his leadership abilities to address the unique needs of those most affected by health disparities by fostering accessible, quality healthcare for all. His work is grounded in the firm belief that health justice is a fundamental human right and that everyone, regardless of their background, deserves barrier-free access to quality healthcare.
